Such good food. So happy that they opened up and offered curbside service during the shut down. Delicious food makes everything better.
MoreVery poor to choice for vegan and vegetarian. Hope you list some more veggie, So expensive, very expensive! Small bowl dumpling $9, little white rice and vegetable $ 13I think never comeback
MoreSmall portions, but tasty! Posted is fried chicken wings.
Very authentic Taiwanese food, a bit pricy but it’s really good.
Restaurant is owned by two brothers and their father and they are a very polite family and treat the customers with respect and patience. The food is well prepared and the service was timely and punctual. They have a good bottle beer list and wine list as well. Would definitely recommend the fried pig ears. I really enjoyed the Jade ToFu
MoreSmall place my boyfriend found and brought me to. Surprisingly enough, it's quite delicious and I recommend going. There's generally a wait, anywhere between 10-30 minutes, depending on the time of day, as well as the day of the week, that you go in. I highly recommend the oxtail dish, as well the dumplings, baos and rice bowls. Don't get the cold noodles, that was a huge mistake on my part. The fried chicken pieces are very flavorful but seem a bit overly salty.
MoreFood aside, you can tell the owner of this place is a very particular person that does not compromise on every little detail by the premium quality of the napkin, cleanliness of the restroom, the quality/smell of soap they used. The food was also superb. The noodles were fresh (they didn’t use dry noodle) and the meats were flavorful. I think this place is probably run by someone who is passionate about making great cuisine and providing the best dining experience.
MoreVery well prepared and delicious food, the service is not friendly, however the food makes it worth the short job off the beltline. It's a 5 min walk from Piedmont Park corner near Grady High and a 20 min beltline walk from Ponce City Market.
MoreLu Ro Fan (魯肉飯) slow cooked minced pork with rice and pork belly bao (掛包), they are both excellent in flavor. Pork belly bao is unique cuz it has a hinge of sweetness.
MoreMy favorite Taiwanese street food. The pork belly bun just melt in your mouth! All the small plates were great! I have tried 90% of their dishes on the menu and all were good!
MoreGreat quality of food and friendly service. The Lu Roy Fan, and Yan Su Ji are highly recommended. Chili oil wontons and pork bun were also delicious. It’s a small restaurant with limited options, but all the dishes we ordered were tasty. Great fusion of Taiwanese food.
MoreWhile the menu is limited, the food is high quality and tasty. The small plates (to share) are a good way to explore what the restaurant has to offer. The fried pig ears come highly recommended! Service is fast and friendly.
MoreVery good Taiwanese food. Excellent salt and pepper chicken, beef noodle soup and tendon soup. We also tried the chilly wonton and Lu Rou Fan, they are very good too. Great local gem.
MoreThis is a lovely Taiwanese restaurant located next to the Trader Joe’s. MoreWe arrived at this spot for a meeting. my friend recommended this spot. Well, it was very successful. The crew welcomed us with a smile and we had a great feeling. The meal was great. We enjoyed every moment and we will visit this place again. Recommended.
MoreLove this place. Small, simple, Taiwanese flavors
Buns were tasty, excited to get back and try the soup once the summer days have passed. Extremely helpful and attentive staff.
MoreIt's been couple years since last visit but still as wonderful as ever. Glad they are still around and open. Taiwanese food for the win here. Can never go wrong with the fried pigs ears, actually been craving these and the catalyst for our return. If they were closer, we would be here quite a bit.
MoreNice little place to get a delicious Asian bite. Food is in small portion and very delicious.
MoreAlways super busy when I come, but that never impacts service. Food is fresh, interesting and delicious! They also have a nice sake selection.
MoreI get to eat here a lot since I work nearby. I have to say the service is always fantastic and they keep the place neat constantly. Prices are reasonable and they serve large portions.
MoreSmall bites, but PACKED with flavor! Truly a wonderful, mouthwatering experience! I was a little bit surprised by the quantity, the Bao was about a teen fist sized snack, for about 5.50, which is about the cost of a five dollar foot-long at subway. I figured this place better have some really good flavors based on the price, and I was pleasantly surprised! The pork in the Bao was packed with flavor, tender and topped off some some cilantro. It was delicious and I will be back!
MoreWe absolutely loved this place. We ordered the wontons, the lu rou fan, the pork belly bao and the dirty bird bao and the beef noodle soup. The flavors were incredible - the bao bread was so light and fluffy, the pickles are so crisp and refreshing with the meats, the pork belly melted in your mouth. The owner and his family run this business and he talked with us about the recipes and the processes... He shared his knowledge and guided us to the perfect meal. We will be coming back next time we are in ATL and will tell all of our friends.

MoreI love this place. Good clean Chinese food, best bok Choy ever! Convenient location near everything in Midtown and excellent customer service.
MoreSmall menu options but all of the things they sell are accurate to Taiwanese cuisine and very tasty. We've come before, and I've reviewed the place before, but they are very good all around and worth it for the small plates. Small place too, but totally worth visiting. Price is okay, and reasonable for the amount of food.

MoreLove this little place. I finally taste the authentic Taiwanese foods that I haven't had for so long. The salt and pepper chicken is what I came for. The beef noodle was OK, but not impressive from a real Taiwaness' point of view. The waitress was really nice too. Hopefully I will have a chance to come back. This was the best meal I had for my trip from Arizona.
MoreBest bao buns in atlanta hands down. I absolutely suggest the dirty bird bao
We've been to Ah-Ma's twice now for their delicious and very tender beef noodle soup (pictured). We also had some tasty bao and chili oil wantons (what's left is pictured). Great service. Nice place. Good music. Clean bathrooms. We left feeling that great feeling one gets when the noodle soup is just right. As good as any place on Buford Highway. Yum.
MoreA trendy, yet authentically Taiwanese restaurant in a fun part of town!My wife is Taiwanese, and is rather picky about Asian food. Suffice it to say I haven't eaten anywhere that hands out fortune cookies since we started dating. She was skeptical about Ah-Ma's when it opened, since the Virginia Highlands area isn't known for authentic Asian food, but it meet with the Pauline Seal of Approval. ;PFor my part, the Bao is easily some of the best I've had in the city, being a little fluffier and less moist than you might be accustomed to. Everything is really quite delicious!
MoreTaiwanese Food is a niche in the realm of Asian Cuisine. Basil fried chicken bits, beef noodle soup, pork belly bun, minced pork with rice are some of the things that come to mind. I didn't see pork chop on the menu so that was kind of a bummer; no bubble tea either but I'm ok with that! LolTheir pork belly bun was delicious, definitely a win! So was their Ru Ruo Fan (minced pork with rice), that was all sorts of yummy! If you're homesick for Taipei, give this place a try. 要買要快喔~!Their 3 cup chicken wings was a let down. It's supposed to have the texture of a stewed or braised chopped chicken where as this was a fried chicken wing with sweet basil sauce. It's more like something you'd find on the menu at Buffalo Wild Wings than an authentic Taiwanese shop.
MoreGreat food, authentic. Definetly try braised oxtail and beef soup. Great tasting and absolutely enough to fill you up on an empty stomach.

MoreI love this place!Their menu is pretty unique inside the city of Atlanta! The restaurant is right next to Piedmont Park which makes it perfect for a a weekend in Midtown. For me, it's one of the few places in this area with authentic Asian food! The portions are perfect to try more than one dish or to share! And the prices affordable considering the area where it is located.Their Dirty Bird Bao is my absolute favorite!
MoreSeated right away on a Sunday night. I enjoyed a veggie bao and beef tendon soup. Excellent taste and texture for the bao. The beef in the soup was very tender. The food came in a reasonable amount of time and was fresh and got upon arrival. I would go again if we stayed in the area longer.
MoreFood and service was great. Thanks
This place is a midtown gem! I love their bao buns and beef noodle soup! And their veggies and wings - amazing!
MoreSmall place but nice decor and friendly staff. Table of 2 was sat immediately, but could definitely see a wait on most days. Decent selection of food and drink. Food was fairly authentic and had a nice presentation. For the price, the portion size was decent, but if you're used to getting big portions of Taiwanese food for low price, you may think these dishes are a little pricey (even if your total bill is low). I would eat here again!
MoreVery good Taiwanese food. Excellent salt and pepper chicken, beef noodle soup and tendon soup. We also tried the chilly wonton and Lu Rou Fan, they are very good too. Great local gem.
MoreI quite liked this small little Taiwanese place. Very unassuming and relaxed environment. Service was good. Thought the food was good.I had the hot and sour soup. Which I enjoyed. Surprisingly hard to get good hot and sour soup. But at Ah-Ma's it was decent. The waiter recommended getting the salt & pepper chicken (taiwanese chicken nuggets). I'd pass on that. It wasn't worth it. I got the beef tendon soup. This was good. But looking around, beef noodle soup looked tastier. So get that rather than the beef tendon soup.
MoreFood and service was great. Thanks
Very authentic Taiwanese food, a bit pricy but it’s really good.
Excellent Taiwanese food with community seating and good ambience. Will go again.
MoreDelicious and very traditional. Pic shows the Taiwanese cold noodles, the salt and pepper chicken (not spicy version), the beef tendon soup, and a half eaten dirty chicken bao. Prices are average for this part of town. Only 10 tables, so it gets busy fast. The takeout is quite efficient though. Good word!
